This high strength envelope waterbase ink system is manufactured
to run at a high speed with excellent drying capabilities. The
colour base system will allow for in-house matching capabilities.
A.I.T. can also offer this service. All of our products are
Q/C thought a color control center and analyzed via spectrophotometer
and logged for comparison to the next batch. The envelope ink
system is manufactured with an anti curl agent to prevent distortion
of the product through the printing process. This H/S ink system
will run up to a 600 line annilox bladed. A.I.T. can also make
a four color process set available that can run up to a 800
line screen. These inks will run to speeds of 800 to 1000 fpm.

Open Series Waterbase Label Inks

This ink system is a complete matching
series, versatile enough to accommodate most paper and
synthetic substraights . Its unique properties make it
possible for the inks to remain stable hour after hour
during running and down time conditions. Some A.I.T. clients
claim to leave these inks in the press over night while
only covering the station with a rag. They continue running
the press the next day without any surface scumming. This
series is also available in a concentrated form that will
run up to a 1000 line anilox, as well a four-color process
set. All systems provide the same ultra rewettable and
stable properties as the O/S label system.

Poly Ex 2 Film Waterbase Ink System
|
|

This system is specifically formulated for
synthetic printed material. This ink will offer excellent
printing properties, adhesion to a wide variety of stocks
treated and untreated. Resistance to tape, rub, scratch
and water. This system can be enhanced with the addition
of a Chemlock additive which will restrict the chemical
effect on printed products.
Although faster drying, these inks rewet very well to
add stability on press and maintain their integrity for
long runs and four-color process situations

This waterbased ink series is an up grade from
the Poly Ex/2 film inks.They were developed to provide adhesion
to a more difficult synthetic film with little or no treatment.
Poly Ex/3 have unique qualities that allow it to self cross-link.
They also exhibit excellent resistant properties to tape, scratch,
rub, and water. This series is currently being used, largely,
in converting unsupported polypropylene.

Waterbased Fluorescents Inks

Advanced Ink offer two different series in Fluorescents
systems. H/S fluorescents provide the ultimate in color strength,
recommended for pours stocks. G/S fluorescents are recommended
for film and coated stocks. A complete matched series is available.
All colors illuminate under ultra violet light.

Thermochromic Reversible Inks
These inks react to an activation temperature.
Inks below the activation temperature are coloured and those
above are clear or lightly coloured. As the ink cools it returns
to it's original colour. Some of the appliactions include chilled
beverages, labels, secure documents, food packaging and propmotional
products. Colors that are available are as follows: Grey/Black
, Blue , Red , Orange , Green , Magenta and purple.These inks
are manufactured in most styles for the printing industry Flexo
, Offset and Screen. Types include solvent , water based U.V.
curable , wet and dry offset.
Temperature ranges: Standards Low 15°
C Body temp 31° C High 45° C
Custom blends are available from -5 ° C to 65 ° C for
these blends there is an additional charge.
These inks are invisible unless they are exposed
to either an ultra violet light source or sunlight.Once this
has taken place, the inks bloom into color.These products are
ideal for document security and promotional products.These inks
can not be copied as they are invisible until activated by a
light source. Photochromic inks are available in a verity of
colors. Blue , Red, Orange, Green , Yellow and Purple. Types
manufactured : Flexo , water base and solvent, screen inks solvent
, water base and U.V. curable , U.V. wet and dry Offset

These products are generally used for medium to
high security items.
The invisible fluorescence will illuminate under Ultra violet
light. Without the light source, the color is not visible.
Pigments of this nature can be combined with regular printing
inks to incorporate a security feature. The Inks can be used
on there own to securely mark a specific area and used in a
in a specific field.
Colors consist of natural blue/green , yellow , orange , and
red.
Inks are manufactured in the following systems : Water based
flexo , U.V. flexo , U.V. Letterpress , U.V. Offset.
These inks are classified as machine readable.
Used for Gift Certificates , P.O.S. , Identification badges
